A good number of prospective houseofficers actually gave a good report on Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital for Conducting an outstanding interview. I’ll give them a C plus.
Lest i forget ,the application fee for OOUTH was 5000 naira only. In the words of one of the applicants who sat for the Interview.He reported that:
“They were about 198 on the list.The Chief Medical Director was actually calling the list to verify candidates.. after which the signing was done in another hall…
The Cmac conducted the exams lasting for one hour and two classes were used
Fifty (50) were interviewed at the guest house.. 75 on the 2nd day.. and the rest on Thursday which was the last day.
We entered in groups. Verification… dressing.. professional question. Then current affairs.
1st slot. Only 16…. total people slot about 40-50 expected
The Hustle is real but at least its better than reports from other centers.
He concluded by saying that they put up a good show even if merit may not be used.
i’ll also like to add that last year, The management of Fmc lokoja actually gave the interns/houseofficers meatpie and malt during their Interview after charging the sum of N5000 naira 😂 for application fee. Oouth can consider using that method. It consoles us emotionally and physically.
